Grandma was a gentle, kind and wonderful Christian woman. She passed those traits and believes to her only daughter, whom I'm so grateful, is my Mother. For all that Grandma was I do love her and will hold her in my heart each and everyday. Mother, I'm sorry I cannot be there today, but my love and prayers are with both you and Dad. Today will be a hard day as we grieve our loss, but at the same time must remember to celebrate for Grandma as she has entered the Kingdom of our Lord. Dear Barb & Dick, She almost made it to 100 - I was looking forward to that celebration but I know she's having an even bigger and better celebration in the reunion with loved ones who have gone ahead of us. Some of my warmest childhood memories are those of my sweet Aunt Bessie bringing out for us a shoebox of the neatest scrapbooking stuff - cotton to make clouds - toothpicks and string to make fishing poles and colored cutouts from the Sunday newspaper including the paper dolls.
