Oh my, to sum up Ann's influence in my life is a huge task, but I'll try. She was a steady presence in my life as my adored babysitter, starting before I could mutter a word. She was at almost every stop of my life's journey always meeting me with a heartfelt greeting and friendly word. She never failed to remind me of the silly things I did as a child under her watchful eye. We developed a lifelong friendship that I still cherish. I am so happy that I met with her at her home a year and a half ago for a long and happy conversation, and of course, I didn't leave her home without a proper bowl of vanilla ice cream. She is shining down from the stars now and will be missed by me and the Poston family.
Ann was a very sweet lady and a wonderful next door neighbor. I will miss our visits. My sympathies go out to the entire Shelton family. God bless. Susan R. Godden

Ann was one of the most kind and nicest ladies I had the pleasure of knowing. She always had a smile on her face and never had a bad word to say. I truly enjoyed our phone calls. Our prayers go our to Pat and Bob and their families. Many great memories.
