Zina Beth Jerrel's Obituary
Zina Beth Jerrel, age 55 of Centerville, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at her home.
Zina was born on March 12, 1966 in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Robert Victor Jerrel and Phyllis Marie Jerrel. She graduated from Muscatine High School. Following graduation, Zina continued her education at Indian Hills Community College.
In Zinas earlier years, she worked as a hostess for cafs and diners. She loved taking long drives and going for walks. She was a collector of many things and enjoyed thrifting. In her down time, she was fond of crocheting and knitting. She also enjoyed reading, watching ballet and listening to music.
Left to cherish Zinas memory are her parents, Robert and Phyllis Jerrel of Mystic; her son, Tyler (Nicole) Olson of Centerville; three grandchildren, Oliver, Arthur and Theodore, all of Centerville; her brother, Jerry Jerrel of Des Moines; her niece, Marissa Galvan of Des Moines; and her nephew, James Jerrel of Des Moines.
Zina was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville with the family greeting friends from 10-12PM.
