Wilma M. Strickler's Obituary
Wilma M. Strickler, age 75, of Moulton, Iowa, died Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. She was born the daughter of Ralph and Bernice M. (Daniels) Pettis on May 30, 1938 in Moulton, Iowa. She received her education in the Moulton Community Schools.On April 2, 1955, Wilma was united in marriage to Donald Strickler in Moulton, the couple were later divorced. She worked at the Ammunition Plant in Burlington, Iowa for a time as well as the Shaffer Pen Company. Later, She and Donald would have Don's Tire Shop in Moulton.She was preceded in death by: her father, Ralph Pettis; son, Bradley Strickler; brother, John Pettis; and a brother-in-law, Dale Dawson.Wilma is survived by: her mother, Bernice Pettis of Moulton, Iowa; sisters, Shirley Dawson of Moulton, Iowa and Wanda Potter and her husband, Jerry of Moulton, Iowa; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Pettis of Moulton, Iowa, along with several nieces and nephews.
