Wilma Jean Rose's Obituary
Wilma 'Jean' Rose, age 78, of Des Moines, Iowa, died Thursday, December 2, 2010 at her home in Des Moines. She was born the daughter of Clarence and Bertha (Exline) Hackathorn on November 11, 1932 in Unionville, Missouri. She attended the Centerville Community Schools in Centerville, Iowa.Jean was first united in marriage to Glenn Hollenbeck, they were later divorced. Her second marriage was to Iassac West and later they would divorce. Then she was united in marriage to Emery Rose. She was a homemaker and a lover of dogs and other pets.She is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Emery Rose; and a sister, Lucille Hackathorn.Jean is survived by: her sons, Glen West of Lucas, Iowa, Gene and his wife, Beverly West and Eric West all of Des Moines, Iowa; a sister, Betty Rose of Portland, Oregon; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 1 pm at the Oakland Cemetery in Centerville, Iowa with Myles Novotny officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
