William Milburn's Obituary
William E. Milburn, age 70, of Mystic, Iowa died Thursday evening, April 21, 2005 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa.
He was born January 8, 1935 the son of Vernon (Von) Milburn and Edna Tracey Milburn Bates at Mystic, Iowa. He was raised in Mystic, but lived may years in Davenport, Iowa before moving back to Mystic. He was a carpenter, a plumber and a machine operator for Mott Construction Co.. He was a former member of the Mystic Volunteer Fire Dept. and loved woodworking.
He is survived by his wife Beverly, 11 children, a son Vernon Milburn and his wife Debbie of Centerville, Julia Kresin and her husband Denny of Davenport, Iowa, William E. Milburn and his wife Terri of East Moline, IL, Peggy Milburn of Coal Valley, IL, Nancy Harris and her husband John of Eliza, IL, Sandra Littig and her husband Dion of Moline, IL, Karen Milburn of Peoria, IL, Tammy Milburn of Silvis, IL, Larry Tosone of Centerville, Roger Buban of Centerville, 21 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, brothers Danny Milburn and his wife Nedra of Moravia, IA, Ronnie Milburn and his wife barb of Rathbun, IA, sisters Arlene Hiatt and her husband Robert of Moravia and Evelyn Clark and her husband Carl of Marshall, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by a son David, his parents and a brother Jerry.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 PM Tuesday at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home with Pastor Patrich Doherty officiating. Friends may call all day Monday with the family present from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Elgin Cemetery, Mystic. A memorial has been established to and may be left or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, PO Box 6, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
