William Albert Mamlock's Obituary
William "Bill" Mamlock of Melrose, Iowa passed away at the age of 62, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in St. Cloud, Minnesota on May 20th, 1960 to John and Illa Mamlock. He attended Apollo High School, graduating with the class of 1978.
He married the love of his life, Susan Adamek, on December 14th, 1984, at the St. Peters Catholic Church in St. Cloud, Minnesota. To this loving union, three blessed children were born, Nadya, Emilee, and Rachel. Bill was a salesman for PPG Commercial Coatings for 30 years. His greatest passion was to have all of his family under one roof, teasing his grandchildren and watching them grow. His prized hobby was his 1947 Chevy as he was an automotive racing and car enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife of 38 wonderful years, Susan Mamlock, his three daughters, Nadya Mamlock (Shaun), Emilee Napoli (Aaron), and Rachel Olson (Steven), granddaughters, Erica Mamlock, Mara Mamlock, Olivia Napoli, grandsons Jacob Mamlock, Carl Mamlock, Maximus Olson, father, John Mamlock, his sisters, Debbie Oaks (Mike) and Cindy Furchner (Ron), also his brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray Birk, Craig (Beth) Adamek, and Scott (Kathy) Adamek, along with several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Rachel Adamek, and many close friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Illa Mamlock, and a sister, Joyce Birk.
Cremation has been accorded per Bill's wishes and there will be services held at St. Peter and Paul's Church on Friday June 10th at 12:30 p.m. Condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com.
