Willard Brown's Obituary
Willard ""Willie"" Brown, age 57, of Mystic, Iowa passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2011 at the Golden Age Skilled Nursing Center in Centerville, Iowa.
Willie was born January 31, 1954 in Centerville, the son of Willard E. and Ethel (Phelps) Brown. He was employed with the Bloomfield Foundry for over twenty five years as a core maker.
Willie enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, as well as riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He also enjoyed gambling.
He is survived by his sister Jeannie Booth of Centerville; three brothers, Anthony Davis of Bloomfield, Iowa, Rollie Brown of Centerville, and Roger Brown of Jerome, Iowa; fifteen nephews and nieces, Lisa Brown, Joe Brown, Tara Brown, Don Brown, Natasha LaRue, Jeremy LaRue, Kathy Hiatt, Jason Brown, Heather Brown, Teresa Ramsey, Tammy Bradshaw, Joyce, Brown, and Roger Brown Jr., Chelsey Brown, and Jacob Brown.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Frank Brown; a nephew Jeff Booth; and a brother-in-law, Bill Booth.
Memorial services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Lange Funeral Home in Centerville with Pastor Kay Singley officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday at Lange Funeral Home from 12-2 PM. A burial of the cremated remains will follow the memorial service in the Elgin Cemetery north of Mystic, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family and may be left at Lange Funeral Home. Condolences may be shared online at www.langefh.com.
