Wayne Patrick Larsen's Obituary
Wayne Patrick Larsen, age 67, of Moulton, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, July 19, 2026.
Wayne was born on June 15, 1959, in Manhattan, New York. A hardworking man with a strong work ethic, he spent much of his life in the construction industry, taking pride in building with his hands and never shying away from an honest day's work.
Outside of work, Wayne embraced life on two wheels. A true biker at heart, he found peace and freedom on the open road, where every ride was another adventure waiting to unfold. Whether he was cruising the highways, relaxing in front of the television, or challenging himself with games on his phone, Wayne appreciated the simple pleasures life had to offer.
Above all else, Wayne's greatest joy was the life he shared with the love of his life, Patty. For 38 years, they built a relationship rooted in love, loyalty, and companionship. Through life's ups and downs, they stood by one another, creating countless memories and sharing a bond that remained steadfast until the very end.
Wayne will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love of motorcycles, his quiet enjoyment of everyday moments, and the unwavering devotion he had for his family. Though his passing was sudden, the memories he created and the love he gave will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Those left to honor Wayne's memory are his wife, Patricia Steelman; his son, Timothy Yates; his granddaughter, Lilah Barker and husband Matthew Barker; his siblings, Robert Larsen, Jimmy Larsen, and Dana Larsen; daughter-in-law, Anita Yates as well as several extended family members and friends.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents.
Per wishes, cremation has been accorded and there will be no services at this time. Memorials can be made to Patricia Steelman, to be designated at a later date, and may be mailed to Thomas Funeral Home, ATTN: Larsen Family, 501 North 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
