Wayne E. Exline's Obituary
Wayne E. Exline, age 86 of Exline, Iowa passed away Friday, April 03, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center, Long Term Care in Centerville.
He was born in Exline, Iowa on March 31, 1929, the son of Van and Olive (Caster) Exline. Wayne married Rosalee Kozeliski on October 9, 1949.
Wayne was a farmer and a longtime postmaster in Exline. He was also a member of the Exline Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalee Exline of Exline, Iowa; daughter, Sheri (Bryan) Ziegler of Ottumwa, Iowa; son, Rick (Karen) Exline of Greenwood, Indiana; six grandsons, Derek (Sarah) Ziegler of Ottumwa, Iowa, Ryan (Tiffany) Exline of Encino, California, Kyle (Maria) Exline of Chicago, Illinois, Blake Exline of St. Louis, Missouri, Brock Exline of Greenwood, Indiana, Grant Exline of Greenwood, Indiana; two great grandchildren, Caleb Ziegler and Leah Ziegler of Ottumwa, Iowa.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant brother, Kenneth.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Monday, April 6, 2015 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville with Ken Glass officiating. Interment will follow in the Exline Cemetery, Exline. A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 5th at Lange Funeral Home from 12 PM-8 PM, with the family greeting friends from 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the Exline Church of Christ and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
