Wanda Lou Johnson's Obituary
Wanda Lou Johnson, age 76, of Albia, Iowa and a former resident of Moravia and Centerville, Iowa, died Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Oakwood Nursing & Rehab Center in Albia. She was born the daughter of Gabe and Jennie L. (Stocker) Johnson on December 26, 1931 in Moravia, IowaOn March 18, 1983, Wanda moved to the Zelpha Price House in Centerville, where she was a resident before moving to Oakwood Nursing & Rehab Center in January of 1997.She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Virgil and Wilbert Johnson; sisters, Opal Glick, Barbara Robinson, Marjorie Scott, Alma Davis and Bernice Derby.She is survived by: several nieces and nephews.Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, October 31, 2008 at 11am at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Moravia, Iowa with Rev. Gene Kubli officiating. Burial will follow in the Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31, 2008 from 9 am till 10:30 am at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa.Memorial can be made to the Oakwood Nursing & Rehab Center's Activity Fund and can be left at the funeral home.
