Wanda Mae Englund's Obituary
Wanda Mae Englund, age 69, of Promise City, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025 at the Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Wanda was born on March 18, 1955 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of Lawrence and Reva (Vestal) Williams.
Throughout her life, she was a CNA at care facilities. Her most important job was being a mother and grandmother. In her free time, Wanda enjoyed flowers, gardening, butterflies, dolls and doll houses.
Left to cherish Wanda's memory are her significant other, Tim Curtis; her children, Daniel Williams, Jason (Bronna) Englund, and Jeremy Englund; her step-daughter, Tiffany Curtis; her grandchildren, Arianna Williams, Harley Eston Curtis, and Casey Reyne Curtis; her sister, Linda (Larry) Barnes; her sister-in-law, Brenda Williams; as well as numerous extended family members.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Larence Williams and Reva Maurer; her step father, Ludwig Maurer; and her brother, Rick Williams.
Per wishes, cremation has been accorded. A Memorial service will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Church of Christ in Promise City, Iowa. Burial will take place in Promise City Cemetery following the service.
