Wanda M. Dooley's Obituary
Wanda M. Dooley, age 89, of Centerville, Iowa, died Wednesday, December 29, 2004, at Centerville Nursing & Rehab Center in Centerville, Iowa. She was born the daughter of Willie B. and Linnia Blanche (Albertson) Frazell on September 28, 1915 in Numa, Iowa. She graduated from the Mystic Community Schools.On June 6, 1936, Wanda was united in marriage to Harry Dooley in Moline, Illinois. Wanda was a former Nurses aid and a dental Assistant to Dr. S. Johnston. Later she was the Librarian at Indian Hills Community College (Centerville Campus). She was a member of the Centerville Chapter #239 of the Order of Eastern Star.Wanda was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Harry Dooley; sisters, Velma Booth, Margie Elaine Frazell and Elma Best.She is survived by her daughters, Judith and her husband, Harlan Hengstenberg of Centerville, Iowa and Loretta Wiley of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held 10:30 am, Monday, January 3, 2005 at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Rev. Dianne Christopher officiating. Burial will follow at the Haines Cemetery north of Centerville, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2005 from 1 till 8 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville with the family present from 6 till 8 pm at the funeral home.Memorials can be made to either the Order of Eastern Star - Centerville or Indian Hills Community College and can be left at or mailed to the To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Wanda M.
