Vivian Marvin's Obituary
Vivian Mabel Marvin, age 90 of Moulton, Iowa went to be with the Lord Thursday evening November 17, 2005 at Golden Age Center, Centerville, Iowa.
She was born November 20, 1914 at Oakley, KS the daughter of Charles Edward Freeborn and Minne Belle Arie Freeborn. She was raised in Kansas and southern Iowa. She was united in marriage to Hardin Mardell Marvin in Lancaster , MO on December 21, 1935. She liked to sew, cook, make and restore dolls, loved crafts and reading.
She is survived by 5 children Beverly Kirby of Centerville, Marlene Maul of Orlando, FL, Joe Marvin and his wife Janice of Des Moines, Harold (Sam) Marvin and his wife Judy of Syracuse, Utah, Gale Marvin and his wife Joyce of Richardson, TX, 12 grand children and 21 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband Mardell in 1991, parents, 2 brothers Orville and Gene, 2 sisters Virgie Allen and Beulah Sweden , a granddaughter Jody Britt and a grandson Jason Marvin.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Monday afternoon November 21 , 2005 at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, Centerville with Pastor Kay Singley officiating. Visitation will be from 11AM Monday until 1PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Hilltown Cemetery. A memorial has been established for Mercy Hospice and may be left or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, 1900 South 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
