Virginia "Eloise" Stickler's Obituary
Virginia 'Eloise' Stickler, age 57, of Centerville, IA, died Friday, December 19, 2003, at the Mercy Medical Center in Centerville, IA. She was born the daughter of Kenneth and Virginia (Thomas) Cornett on January 24, 1946 in Centerville, Iowa. She graduated from the Centerville High School in 1964 and attended Indian Hills Community College for one year.Prior to her illness, she had been employed by Viskase Corp. for 3 years, Indian Hills Community College for 14 years and Union Carbide for 7 years. She was active in the Ladies Auxiliary at the Eagles in Centerville, IA.She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Cornett on April 9, 2002.Surviving family members include: her son, Greg Stickler of Hedrick, IA; her mother, Virginia Cornett of Centerville, IA; three sisters, Linda VanDike of Centerville, IA, Loretta Allen and her husband, Tom of Centerville, IA and Christina Smith and her husband, Ron of Des Moines, IA and her dear friend, Rex Exline of Centerville, IA.Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 22, 2003 at 10:30 am at the Solid Rock Church of God with Pastor Kristopher J. Wattelet officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt.
