Violet Seals' Obituary
Violet Veronica Seals, age 80, of Centerville died Monday night, August 29, 2005 at the Golden Age Care Center, Centerville.
Violet was born on June 19, 1925 the daughter of Harry and Lena (Robinson) Livingston in Rock Island, Illinois. She married Leo Seals in 1941. Her hobbies were making quilts and she loved to bake.
She is survived by her 3 children; Genevieve Mehrhoff and her husband Roger of Centerville, IA, Ella Mae Kehrberg and her husband Robert of Moravia, IA, Leo Nelson Seals Jr. and his wife Pamela of Albia, IA, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Leo Seals Sr., 5 brothers; Henry, Edward, Charles, James (Bud) and Irvin Livingston and a grandchild.
Graveside services will be held Friday September 2, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at the Highland Cemetery in Mystic, Iowa. Friends may call Thursday afternoon with the family present from 6-8 P.M. at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, Centerville. A memorial has been established to the Parkinson Foundation and may be left at or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, PO Box 6, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
