Victor Pasa's Obituary
Victor Pasa, age 66 of Centerville, Iowa died Saturday, May 12, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center, Centerville.
Victor was born June 16, 1940, the son of Victor Gabriel and Josephine (Bettale) Pasa in Centerville, Iowa. He graduated from Centerville High School. Victor married Elaine Todey June 3, 1961 in Centerville, Iowa. He worked for Union Carbide/Curwood for thirty-five years and retired in 2001. Victor enjoyed farming, working on cars, fishing and was known for his good story telling. He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
Victor is survived by his wife, Elaine; children, Jeff (Mary) Pasa of Albia, Iowa, Lisa (Perry) Edwards of Centerville, Iowa, Susan Brownlee of Centerville, Iowa, Jill (Tim) Morris of Centerville, Iowa, Karen (David) Robbins of Unionville, Missouri, and Josh (Theresa) Pasa of Davenport, Iowa; grandchildren, Randi Pasa of Albia, Iowa, Jamie (Kelly) Laurson of Cambridge, Iowa, Clarissa Edwards of Centerville, Iowa, Travis Brownlee of Centerville, Iowa, Derek Drake of Centerville, Iowa, Joe and John Morris both of Centerville, Iowa, Cassie and Tyler Robbins both of Unionville, Missouri; and siblings, Joe (Pauline) Pasa of Centerville, Iowa, and Mary Ashby of Centerville, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A mass of the resurrection will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Centerville with Father Ron Will officiating. A visitation will be held Tuesday at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home with the family present from 6-8 PM with a prayer service starting at 8 PM. A memorial has been established to the St. Mary's Catholic Church and may be left at or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa 52544.
