Vicki Jones' Obituary
Vicki Rhae (DeVore) Jones, 63, of Corydon passed away Monday, April 11, 2016 at Wayne County Hospital. Vicki was born on January 10, 1953 in Humeston to Rex and Florence (Tuttle) DeVore. She received her education from Wayne Community Schools in Corydon, graduating with the Class of 1971. Vicki was employed for many years by Deflecta Shield as office personnel and then later worked for East Penn in Corydon. On February 14, 1999, Vicki was united in marriage to Ken Jones. Vicki's family was very important to her. Fall family fun with Ken's family and the Seven Siblings Reunion with her family on Labor Day weekends were highlights to her every year. She worshipped the time she got to spend with her son Jeremy very much. She enjoyed having garage sales, antique shopping and cleaning her house. She also enjoyed watching old western shows. Survivors include her husband Ken of Corydon, six siblings: Larry DeVore (Karen) of Chariton, Betty Reel (Jim) of Mt. Sterling, Billy DeVore of Williamson, Susie DeVore of Corydon, Mary Ann Little (Bob) of Corydon, Jimmy DeVore (Tami) of Corydon, mother and father in-law, Dick and Mert Jones of Chariton, sister-in-law Pam Raymie (David) of Knoxville, Kurt Jones of MN, Keith Jones of Russell, Kip Jones (Kelly) of CO, Kevin Jones (Donna) of Knoxville and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son Jeremy DeVore and her parents. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 15, 2016 at Thomas-Randolph Funeral Home in Corydon. Interment will immediately follow at Hart Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
