Verne Mooney's Obituary
Verne Mooney, age 65 of Iconium died 4-1-04 at Mercy Medical Center, Des Moines. He was born on April 30, 1939 to Verne and Ethel (Roberts) Mooney at Davenport, Iowa. Vern was a veteran of the Navy.
He is survived by his daughter Tami Van Brocklin, three grandchildren Heather Van Brocklin of Keokuk, Jason Van Brocklin of Hedrick, April Mulnix; one great grandson Trevor Van Brocklin of Hedrick. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Wayne, Robert and Richard Mooney, three sisters Barbara Peterson, Iris Mooney and Beth Ann Mooney.
Visitation will be held Thursday, from 6-8 p.m. at Thomas Lange Funeral Home. His body will be cremated and their are no services planned. A memorial has been established and may be left at or mailed to Thomas Lange Funeral Home 1900 S. 18th St Centerville, Ia 52544
