Tripp Steven Homann's Obituary
Tripp Steven Homann was welcomed into the world on June 21, 2026, at Wayne County Hospital, bringing immeasurable joy to his parents, Chey Homann and Victoria "Tori" Ewing. Though he wasn't expected to arrive until July 1, Tripp was eager to begin the adventure of life and couldn't wait to meet the family who had already been waiting so patiently for him. At home, his biggest fan was his proud big sister, Whitley, whose gentle heart and loving spirit quickly made her his favorite companion and faithful little peacekeeper.
On Sunday, August 2, 2026, with his family surrounding him in love at Wayne County Hospital, Tripp was gently carried into the arms of eternity. While his time here was far too short, every moment he was given was filled with love, laughter, and memories that will forever be treasured.
In just six precious weeks, Tripp taught those around him that a beautiful life isn't measured by its length, but by the love it leaves behind. He found comfort in familiar voices, warm embraces, and the boisterous presence of his big sister. Whether she was watching over him, talking to him, or simply sitting nearby, Whitley had a way of bringing him peace that only a sibling's love can provide.
Although he was just a baby, Tripp was already becoming quite the little fairgoer. His family loved taking him along to the places that meant so much to them, and before most babies his age had even ventured far from home, Tripp had already attended three rodeos in just six weeks. Surrounded by cheering crowds, the sights of horses, and the excitement of summer evenings, he happily took it all in. However, if there was one thing everyone learned about Tripp, it was that the loud rumble of the tractor pull simply wasn't his favorite. Even now, that sweet little detail brings smiles through tears and reminds his family that he was already beginning to show them a personality all his own.
Though his earthly journey was brief, Tripp's life was rich with what matters most-being deeply loved. Every cuddle, every tiny yawn, every peaceful nap, and every mile traveled together became a memory his family will carry forever.
Tripp will forever be remembered as a precious son, a beloved little brother, and a beautiful reminder that even the smallest lives can make the greatest difference. His memory will live on in every summer fair, every rodeo, every quiet moment shared between siblings, and in the endless love of the family who will always call him theirs.
Tripp is survived by his loving parents, Chey Homann and Tori Ewing; Big sister, Whitley Homann; grandparents, Bill and Crissy Homann, Scott and Sheila Ewing; Aunts and Uncles, Ashley and Justin Bickel (Saylor and Royce), Amber Bailey and Zack Van Fleet (Reggie and Nash Bailey and Myla VanFleet), Zac and Cheyene Ewing (baby girl Ewing); great grandma, Barb Mastin; great grandpa, Greg Ewing; great grandma, Priscilla Riedl and many more extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great papa, Ron Mastin; great grandma, Connie Ewing; great grandpa, Dale Riedl; uncle, George Bailey and great grandpa, Fritz Homann.
