I only knew Travis for a short time in Hawaii, but I liked him the instant I met him. We could sit and talk for hours about nothing and I always felt good every time we chatted. I was truly shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. He's one of those people you made friends with and you knew it was for life. I will never forget my times with him and I will always remember what a great human being he was. I think of his family often and take great comfort in knowing they truly appreciated him. John and Barb we are so Sorry to hear of the loss of your son.It all came as a Real Shock to us. I remember Setting in Hardees with the bus drivers drinking coffee and Barb would bring all 3 boys in. They were so very cute. Now they are all grown how time flys. Our Sympathy goes out to all the Riddick Famiy in this difficult time. May the Lord be with till you can someday join him again. I shed tears today as I witnessed all the beautiful flags honoring a soldier I never met but honor and feel connected. Soldiers like him keep Americans like us bound together in freedom- similar to the stitches binding the stars & stripes of the 2200 flags lining this highway.
