Tom Peckham's Obituary
Cloyd Duane "Tom" Peckham, 85, of Ionia, Iowa and formerly of Centerville passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 at his home in Ionia. Tom was born on March 11, 1930 in Exline, Iowa to Charlie & Juanita (Thompson) Peckham. Tom was a veteran of the United States Army Corps. He was united in marriage to Beverly Gardner on January 27, 1951. Tom was a farmer for the majority of his life. He enjoyed camping trips with his family in the Ozarks. He also enjoyed boating, water skiing and square dancing. Tom also enjoyed pheasant and deer hunting. Survivors include four children; Dennis Peckham "wife, Pat" of Ottumwa, Iowa, David Peckham "wife Joy" of Carlisle, Ohio, Debbie Kleinschmidt "husband Mike" of Ionia, Iowa and Jamie Tracy "husband Bruce" of Centerville, Iowa, seven grandchildren, one step-grandchild, fifteen great-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren, three sisters: Susan, Jewellan and Joanne. He was preceded in death by his wife Beverly and one grandchild, one great grandchild, brother Dick Peckham and his parents. Graveside service will be 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Haines Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Thomas Funeral Home.
