Timothy Alan Clem's Obituary
Timothy Alan Clem, age 63, of Centerville, formerly of Burleson, Texas, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines.
Tim was born on June 25, 1960 in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Edward and Reatta (Brownlee) Clem. He was the youngest of five boys.
Tim was united in marriage to Rachel Anne Fox, and to this union, a son was born, Brandon.
Tim served in the United States Air Force from 1980 through 1995. He spent time stationed in Spangdahlem, Germany and Newport News, Virginia. He was one of the first deployed in Desert Storm. He faithfully served his country and was fortunate to travel the world.Tim started his own business doing commercial and residential painting. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, playing poker, watching the Dallas Cowboys play, and loved grilling, smoking meat and barbeque. Tim will be remembered for his generous and kind heart, quick-wit and sense of humor.
Left to honor Tim's memory are his wife, Rachel Clem; his son, Brandon Clem; his father, Ed Clem; his mother-in-law, Linda Fox (Andy Moore); brothers-in-law, Richard (Mary) Fox, Jeff (Nichole) Moore, and Jason (Marci) Moore; brother, Bobby; nieces, Amanda, Kelsey, and Kaitlyn; his nephew, Kale; as well as several extended family and friends.
Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Reatta Clem; and his brothers, "Big" Ed Clem, Glenn Clem and Tony Clem.
Per wishes, cremation has been accorded. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30AM, Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville. Military Rites will be conducted at the funeral home following the service.
