Timothy Dean Butler's Obituary
Timothy Dean Butler, age 49, of Exline, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024 at his home.
Timothy was born on July 10, 1974 in Albia, Iowa, the son of Clifford Eudean "Dean" and Margaret Ann (Abbott) Butler. He graduated from Centerville High School.
Timothy "Bud" was a truck driver throughout his life. In his free time, he enjoyed hanging out at CarQuest in Centerville, joking around with people, watching the Iowa Hawkeyes, drinking coffee and Mt. Dew, and spending time with his family, especially his cat, Timmy Boy.
Left to honor Timothy's memory are his father, Dean Butler; his children, Mindy Butler, Kimberly Butler, and Victorya Butler; his siblings, Victoria (Tom) Cranston, Deana (Gordy) Edwards, Teddy (Sherry) Butler, and Tammy (Eric) Hendricks; as well as several extended family members.
Timothy was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Butler and his fiancé Colleen.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville. Burial will follow the service at Shriver Cemetery, west of Seymour. Visitation will take place Friday, April 12, 2024 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville with the family greeting friends from 5:00PM-7:00PM.
