Theodore David Sulser's Obituary
Theodore David Sulser, age 61, of Centerville, Iowa, passed away Sunday morning, March 22, 2020 at the Golden Age Care Center in Centerville.
He was born to Theodore Wesley and Donna Jean (Holmes) Sulser March 25, 1958 in Centerville, Iowa.
At age seven, Ted and his familys world was turned upside down when he began having seizures, which continued throughout his life causing mental and physical disabilities. His home became hospitals and group homes. Through all the years, he remained happy and loving to all he met. Ted loved watching western movies, country music, and Elvis. He was thrilled when Elvis (Bruce Buttel) came to the nursing home to perform.
Preceding him in death were his parents; as well as his grandparents, Lowell and Fern (Bonebrake) Holmes and Joe and Gladys (Murray) Sulser.
Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Kathy (David) Sherrard, Rita (Allen) Johnson; nieces Lori (Chad) Clark, Traci (Aaron Franklin) Fields, and Amanda (JJ) Millizer; nephews Tod (Darlene) Johnson, and Joe (Kathie) Sherrard; special great niece and care giver, Maddy Sherwood; aunts Rita Rudd and Joan Johnson; as well as many cousins.
According to wishes, cremation has been accorded. Private Graveside Services will be held at a later date in the Confidence Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family to be determined at a later date, and checks may be made out to Kathy Sherrard and left at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
