Terry was an awesome uncle. His good heart and love for family, immediate and extended was something to be cherished. He was kind, helpful and a member of the family that you knew would always be there for you. He was exceptionally intelligent but didn't flaunt it. If you ever wondered how he knew so much and just out of curiosity you would go to the dictionary or encyclopedia to check it out, there it was almost word for word. It was just Uncle Terry. If he had an idea or suggestion it was presented as "something to think about" he didn't rush you or push you, just "something to think about". He lived his life, good, strong, pure and we all learned by osmosis. Terry was loved by his family and all that knew him. His talents run deep and he was self taught with those many talents. We have lost a legend in our family but his memories will live on for as long as there is someone of us to tell them. He made his way close to his family, great nieces and nephews to great great nieces and nephews. I have a granddaughter that works at Fareway. Terry walked into Fareway one day and said you remind me of my daughter, Amy. (Amy has red hair and so does my granddaughter.) He talked to her for a while and then said, "I bet you don't know who I am". She said, "Yes, I do. You are uncle Terry". He was surprised and pleased. Each time he shopped at Fareway he looked Makenzie up, just to say Hi or maybe for some help to find something. You see Makenzie knew Uncle Terry because she had heard the many stories of kindness and he was not a stranger to her. He oftened talked to me about Makenzie and what a nice young lady she was. Makenzie felt the same about Uncle Terry. Makenzie is Terry's GREAT GREAT niece. This is down the line but there again this is how our family is, we cherish our family. That is the way this family is. He is a legend that will not be forgot and he is loved deeply by many.
