Terry Lee Hayes age 64, of Des Moines, Iowa formerly of Centerville, Iowa, died Sunday, October 3, 2010 at his home in Des Moines, Iowa. He was born the son of Fay and Bettie (Strode) Hayes on December 11, 1945 in Centerville, Iowa.He worked for many years as a Construction worker all over the United States.He is preceded in death by his father, Fay Hayes.Terry is survived by: his mother and step father, Dick and Bettie Huber of Mercer, Missouri; a brother, Evert Hayes of Centerville, Iowa; and a step brother, Dick Huber Jr. of Ottumwa, Iowa; and aunts, Lydia Susin of Numa, Iowa and Mary Padavich of New London, Iowa.Memorial services will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at 2 pm at the People's Baptist Church in Centerville, Iowa followed by a visitation with the family at the church. Memorials can be made to the family at this time and can be sent to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville.
