Terri Lynn Novotny, 51 of Centerville passed away Monday, October 29, 2012 at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City. Terri was born on March 1, 1961 to James 'Larry' and Joanne (Richards) Willis in Centerville, Iowa. She received her education from Centerville High School graduating in 1979. Terri was a waitress and later became a cook at George and Nick's where she was employed 28 years. Terri liked unicorns, enjoyed reading, taking trips to Cedar Rapids to visit her son and daughter-in-law and time spent with her granddaughter Kaden. Terri is survived by her two children; Mindy Hull(Chester) of Centerville, Cody Novotny(Darcy) of Cedar Rapids, granddaughter, Kaden Hull of Centerville and a brother, James Willis of Kirksville, two nieces; Shelby Willis of Waurika, Oklahoma and McKenzie Willis of Kirksville, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Karel Todd and a sister-in-law, Sherry Willis. A Celebration of Life Service will be 1:30 p.m., Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Thomas Funeral Home with Terry Thomas officiating. Inurnment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
