Tammy Potter's Obituary
Tammy Potter, 49, of Centerville, Iowa, passed away on October 6, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines surrounded by family. Tammy was born on June 25, 1965 in Butte, Montana. She received her education from Centerville Schools. On April 28, 1998 she married Bruce Potter in Centerville. Tammy worked for years as an LPN at Centerville Nursing and Rehab. She enjoyed needlework, bead making, reading and learning new things. Tammy is survived by her husband, Bruce, of Centerville, son, Michael Soumounthong of Iowa City, two sisters; Tina (Kelly) Adams of Dallas, TX and Linda Atkinson of Minnesota, brother, Travis Atkinson of Nashville, TN, mother, Louise Atkinson of Cedar Rapids and father Bob Atkinson of Centerville. Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville with Rev. Kay Singley officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.
