Sylvia Arlene Jarvis' Obituary
Sylvia Arlene Jarvis, age 98, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 22, 2023.
Sylvia was born to Clarence and Grace (Kingery) Irelan on September 1, 1925. She was united in marriage to Ralph Ezra Jarvis on January 21, 1943.
Sylvia worked at McGraw Edison in Centerville for 11 ½ years. She was a devout Christian, who attended Dale Baptist Church until recent years due to her health. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Sylvia was a loving mother to three children, Jim, John (Norene), and Joy; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and a sister to Ruth Arndt.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; her parents, Clarence and Grace Irelan; her sister, Eva May Wright; her brothers, Carl, Glen, Max, and Joe Irelan; and her grandson, Christopher Tamelleo.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30AM, Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Shoney Cemetery in Omaha, Missouri with Pastor Gerald Campbell officiating. Visitation will take place Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville with the family greeting friends from 10:00-11:00AM.
