Susan Marie Van Atta's Obituary
Susan Marie Van Atta, age 71, of Seymour, passed away Friday, February 3, 2023 at MercyOne Medical Center in Centerville.
Susan was born on August 27, 1951 in Wisconsin, the daughter of Karl and Lois Lang. She was united in marriage to Steven Van Atta on June 24, 1997.
Susan enjoyed helping with Steve at an auto body shop for many years.
Left to cherish Susan's memory are her husband, Steve Van Atta of Seymour; five children, Mike Pryce of Seymour, Daniel Pryce of Seymour, Jeff Pryce of Seymour, Ashley (Ramon) Jimenez of Florida, and Jennifer Van Atta of France; ten grandchildren, Ashley (Garrett) Johnson, Cierra Pryce, Leslie Pryce, Danee Pryce, Jaydon Pryce, Tyler Pryce, Emma Pryce, Luna Pryce, Gabriel Jimenez, and Julian Jimenez: two great grandchildren, Ashton and Landon King, with one great grandchild on the way; two sisters, LuAnn (Ernie) Marchisin of Texas, and Karlene Lang of California; one brother, Robert Lang; as well as several extended family members.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Lois Lang; and two brothers, Jerome Leo Lang and Karl Henry Lang Jr.
Per wishes, cremation has been accorded at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
