Susan Sellers' Obituary
Susan Sellers, 68, of Corydon, passed away on January 19, 2020 at Wayne County Hospital. Susan was born on March 6, 1951 in Nickerson, Kansas to Dorwin and Betty (Nichols) Cline. After graduating from Nickerson High School in 1969, Susan attended college in McPherson, Kansas where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. She worked as an information technology manager and trainer for almost 20 years for Harris Publishing; which consisted of six newspapers that spread across Kansas and Iowa. In 2017, she moved to Corydon and married John Sellers. Susan raised three children, two stepchildren and numerous foster children. In her spare time she enjoyed: pottery, bead-making, crocheting, traveling and anything related to art and culture. She was also an avid reader. She always looked forward to the Millerton get togethers every Tuesday morning and attending the Iowa Barnstormer games with John; where the couple have been season ticket holders for many years. Susan is survived by her loving husband, John Sellers; children: Leigh Dutton, Matt Seifert, Kari (Stacy) Thorpe, Autumn (Jeff) Bowlby-Cole and Amber Bowlby; grandchildren: Chris (Deena) and Izzy Seifert, Alex Belote, Sebastian and Nathan Dutton, Blake and Anastasia Thorpe, Cash and Cayanne Bowlby and Carlinn Bowlby-Cole and siblings: John (Tammy) Cline, Merrie (Luis) Monteagudo, James Cline and David (Greta) Cline. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Eddie Cline. Per Susan's request, cremation will be accorded and services will be held in Kansas at a later date.
