Susan Jacobs' Obituary
Susan Marie Jacobs passed away on January 29, 2019 in the comfort of her family. She was born a preemie on February 10, 1955 to Dickie and Marilyn (Hoffman) Miller. She eloped with Gary Jacobs on June 3, 1989 and they traveled to California and back in a camper van. Susan had the kindest heart and gave all her love to those around her. She owned and operated her quilt shop, Backyard Quilts in Corydon until 2001. She loved to be creative and did many crafts; leaving us all with her many creations. Susan leaves behind her husband, Gary; children: Elizabeth (Richard) Zuptich, Teresa Hunt (Johnathon Brewer), Thomas (Tracy) Woodin; Gary's children: Lilliann (Michael) Snow Cline and Stephan Jacobs. She had 22 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Susan is also survived by her siblings: Dixie Rodgers, Phil Miller and Kathy Woodin; mother-in-law, Bobbie Woodin and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Susan is now in Heaven with her parents, grandparents and brother, Thomas Miller. A private celebration of life service will be held for Susan at a later date.
