Steven Rae Ruble's Obituary
Steven Ruble, 77, of Corydon, passed away on June 14, 2022 at Wayne County Hospital in Corydon.
Steven Rae Ruble was born on August 3, 1944 in Osceola, Iowa to Ralph Freeman and Myrtle Gayle (Lester) Ruble. He graduated from Central Decatur High School with the class of 1963 and would later join the Army Reserves. He married Sue Levea on December 31, 1967.
Steven spent his life farming and found joy in raising his purebred Percherons, twice winning the Percheron Congress with his horse, Pride. He enjoyed his cars like his '66 Jag Convertible, his Dodge Challenger, and his Bucket "T."
Left to remember Steven is his wife, Sue Ruble, brothers, Richard Ruble (Linda) and Stan Ruble (Betty), sisters-in-law, Sharon Riechart, Sandra Akes (Stan), Sarah Workman (David), and Stella Levea, brother-in-law, Steve Kentner, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, friends and extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Myrtle Ruble, his sister-in-law, Sheryl Kentner, and brother-in-law Harley Riechart.
Cremation has been accorded and no services are being planned for Steven at this time. Memorials can be made in Steven's honor to Wayne County Hospital or EveryStep Hospice, and condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com.
