Steven Johnson's Obituary
Steven Johnson, age 77 of Seymour, Iowa, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 in his home following a brief illness.
Steve was born in Omaha, Nebraska and is preceded in death by his parents Jack G. and Mary (Parmenter) Johnson as well as siblings Jack G. Johnson Jr., Jerry D. Johnson and Nancy Life.
Steve was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was known for his sense of humor. Over the last four years, Steve owned a transportation business and greatly enjoyed getting to know his customers.
Steve leaves his wife of 58 years, Wanda (Smith) Johnson; his son Steven L. Johnson, Jr. and wife Sue; his daughter Angel Wilde and husband Kevin; his son Robert L. Johnson; his brother Ronald Johnson and sister Diane Reuting; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Steve will be missed by friends and family members who are invited to a memorial gathering at the Seymour Community Center on Saturday, August 1 at 11:00 am.
