Steven Wayne Groves' Obituary
Steven Wayne Groves, 58 of Melcher Dallas, IA went home to be with the Lord on January 8, 2026 at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha, NE.
He was born on August 24, 1967 to Lawrence and Beverly (Bannerman) Groves in Des Moines, IA. He graduated school from North Pole, Alaska in 1986.
Steven welcomed his beautiful baby girl, Ericka on December 10, 1988. He enjoyed spending time with her along with the rest of his family.
Steven loved being outdoors. He liked looking for arrowheads, antler sheds and fishing.
Steven is survived by his mother, Beverly Groves; daughter, Ericka Groves (Tim); siblings, Teresa Clarke (Ken), Brenda Remsing (Tom), Tammy Dorris (John); nieces and nephews, Amber Earls (Tom), Wendy Schmid (Derek), Corey Remsing, Savannah Remsing, Kayla Dorris (Rich) and Jacob Dorris along with 10 great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Groves.
Per the families wishes there will be no service at this time. Memorials in honor of Steven may be made out to The Family of Steven Groves to be determined at a later date and mailed to Thomas Funeral Home Attn: Groves Family 303 E.
