Steven Lee Forsythe's Obituary
Steven Lee Forsythe, age 59 of Moulton, Iowa, died Saturday, April 28, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. He was born the son of Jeffie and Margaret (Stansberry) Forsythe on October 7, 1947 in Centerville. He graduated from the Moulton Community Schools in 1965, and later completed his insurance license training. On April 8, 1966, Steve was united in marriage to Sue Ann Waybill in Moulton, Iowa. He served his country during Vietnam in the US Navy. Steve was a Farm Bureau Agent for over 30 year in Centerville and was a Special Deputy for the Appanoose County Sheriffs Office in Centerville for over 20 years. He was a member of Moulton Christian Church and was Past Post Commander of Burl McClure Post 280 of the American Legion in Moulton.He was preceded in death by: his grandparents and father-in-law, Vernon Waybill.Steve is also survived by: his wife, Sue Ann Forsythe of Moulton, Iowa; sons, Jeff Forsythe of Sheridan, Wyoming and Aaron Forsythe and his wife, Kay of Norwalk, Iowa; parents; Jeffie and Margaret Forsythe of Moulton, Iowa; brother, Dennis Forsythe of Norwalk, Iowa and sister, Pam Daniels of Moulton, Iowa; grandchildren, Allison, Katy and Joshua Forsythe all of Norwalk, Iowa; mother-in-law, Geneva Waybill of Moulton, Iowa.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at 11 am at the Moulton Christian Church in Moulton, Iowa with Rev. Reg Higginbottom officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at the Sunset View Cemetery north of Moulton, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 30, 2007 from 1 pm till 8 pm at the Schmidt Family funeral Home in Moulton with the family present from 6 pm till 8 pm at the funeral home.Memorials can be made to the Garrett Memorial Library and can be left at the funeral home.
