Steven Enlow's Obituary
Steve Enlow was a son, brother, father, and grandad, who passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. In 59 years, he not only served in the Army, he looked out for the best for his two living sons. He tried to be positive for others while he was emotionally hurting from loosing his first two kids and youngest brother.
He loved his grandkids with everything in him. They were his joy. In the final year, he got to see his oldest two grandkids four times, and the last time, Luke called Poopaw a saint. He wanted to be called Poopaw because he is the (other word for Poop that starts with S).There was a lot of love at the end for everyone, even those who were taking advantage of him. He confessed that Jesus is his LORD and Savior a couple visits prior to his death. Now I can confidently say that he is no longer in pain, he is with his first two kids, and that he is happy now.
To all his brothers, sister, friends, and loved ones; at the end he didn't hate anymore. He loved you all and wished for the best for you all.
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. ROMANS 10:9-10.
Left to honor Steve's memory are his mother, Barbara Sanches; his sons, Tayzer (Carole) Enlow and Logan Cain Sparr (Daelee L Couch); grandchildren, Luke Malachi Enlow, Lauren Rose Enlow, and Markus Kayne Sparr; siblings, Cory Wilson, Douglas Enlow, Donald Enlow, John Berry, and Amy Widman; as well as several extended family members and friends.
Per wishes, cremation has been accorded, and no services are planned at this time. Memorials may be written to Tayzer Enlow, to be determined at a later date, and may be mailed to Thomas Funeral Home, ATTN: Enlow Family, 501 North 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
