Coach Hunt means so much to me. We had so many good times during my basketball career. He always pushed me to better myself. I believe he was the hardest on Carey and I. My proudest moment was getting my 1000 point at Gilman City. Then getting the basketball to alway remember the moment. Drew and Bailey grew up with us in the locker room, Drew was always wanting a picture with me at games, especially when we got a trophy. One summer Carey and I was able to got to camp at the Iowa Hawkeye, I learned so much. I have always cherished that Coach included me for that camp and believed in me getting better at basketball. My senior year was to be the best one, the second game I hurt my knee. I cried so hard, but Coach said "I know you are crushed, but you cannot control these things in life. Basketball does not define you, keep your head up, you have a bright future a heads of you." He checked on me everyday to keep me upbeat, even when he knew I was crushed. Since then everytime he saw me I would get a great big bear hug. Coach you will greatly missed! I will always love you and your family.
