My uncle Steve was a pretty awesome guy. I can't remember anytime when I was little that he wasn't around. He was the best. Every birthday, he would grab you and walk you around to every person there so they could spank you lol, he always knew when we got haircuts and he would say, "who cut your hair?", in the funniest voice. When I was probably too young to be able to remember but I do, he gave me my first soda and taught me how to go "aaaahhhhhh" after I took a drink. My mom said one of the first things I ever said when asked if I liked what I was eating for dinner was "taste like dog shit" lol because Steve loved cheech and Chong and taught me so many things. I am great at math and riddles and spent countless hours in the store with Steve and my sister dena. He taught us how to drive on gravel roads, he use to have me sing America Women by the guess who, just the first part of it to all the boys and farmers coming in to weigh their trucks. I didn't even know there was a whole other song to that song until I was in highschool. He was so smart or as so many said, he had such a long and quick to recall memory. He use to take us to the cemeteries and tell us the stories behind why some were buried on the north end of town and some were buried on the south end out close to my dads home. He was always laughing and was always helpful, even if he did not get along to well with my dad, as a kid, he replaced my dad in so many ways when my dad couldn't. I haven't seen or spoke to steve in such a long time but he was a huge part of my growing up and there was no one else like him. If he has gone anywhere, you bet your ass they got rock n roll music playing loud!
