Spencer Leroy McKeehan's Obituary
Spencer Leroy McKeehan of McKinleyville, CA, died on Wednesday January 17, 2007, at home. He was a former resident of Centerville, Iowa. He was born to Spencer and Ocie McKeehan, March 1, 1938. Spencer attended Centerville schools and then began his career in the United States Air Force.After retiring from the Air Force he moved to California. He married Kathleen Geoghegan in 1982. They enjoyed cruising and traveling in their RV. Spencer was also an avid NASCAR fan.Spencer is survived by his daughter, Shawn and son-in-law Daryl Raasch of Adair, IA; grandson, Blake Schnormeier of Cedar Rapids, IA; granddaughter, Kelsey Castillo of Atlantic, IA; sisters, Marjorie Lepper of Coweta, OK, Violet Douglas of Moulton, IA, and Nora Sales of Rogersville, MO, sister and brother-in-law Lolita and Tony Beltramo of McKinleyville, CA; step-daughter, Veronica Robbins of Woodland, CA; step-sons, Bill Geoghegan of Austin, Texas, and Paul Isbell of Madrid, Spain; plus several other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Spencer was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen; his parents; and his three brothers, Robert, Earl and Audrey McKeehan.A short memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 1 pm at the To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Spencer Leroy McKeehan please visit our Sympathy Store.
