Shelli Jolene Fowler's Obituary
Shelli Jolene Fowler, 61 of Centerville, passed away at her home on Saturday, December 18, 2021.
Shelli was born to Gene and Norma Thomas on June 23, 1960 in Centerville, Iowa.
On September 26, 1980 Shelli was gifted the first love of her life, a son, Clint. They were their own version of Bonnie and Clyde for several years, then along came Gary.
On June 4, 1983 Gary and Shelli were united in Marriage and to this union three loves were born; Natasha, Natalie and Felicia.
Shelli loved her family and going to her kids and grandkids sporting events, where she could often be heard from the stands. Shelli loved to laugh, have fun and make others laugh. Her greatest achievement and joy was her family. While she loved her kids, nothing gave her greater joy than being nana. Shelli had an uncanny ability to spoil and heal their tears with her magical smoocharonis.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 38 years, Gary. Her children, Clint Varese, Natasha (TJ) Campbell, Natalie (Joe) Trinkle, and Felicia (Chris) Cook. Her mother, Norma Thomas. Her sisters, Sherri Morlan, Shelia (Tom) Carson and brother Dave (John) Brion. Her ten grandchildren, Sister-in-law Connie (Scot) Dunham, and many nieces and nephews.
Shelli is preceded in death by her father, Gene Thomas, her in-laws Herman and Phyllis Fowler and brother-in-law, James "Peachy" Fowler.
Services for Shelli will be held at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Terry Chapman officiating. Visitation will be held the night prior, from 5:00PM - 7:00PM. Memorials may be given to Operation Santa.
