Sheila Banks' Obituary
Sheila Banks, 49, of Seymour, passed away on December 11, 2018 at her residence. Sheila was born on June 22, 1969 in Davenport, Iowa to Jesse and Beverly (Davis) Graham. After graduating from Seymour High School in 1987, Sheila attended Indian Hills Community College for a brief time. Sheila married Kenny Banks in 1988 and to this union, a daughter, Brittany Nicole Banks was born. The pair later divorced and Sheila went on to marry Freddie Prewitt. It was then that another daughter, Mallory Jo Prewitt was born. Sheila enjoyed many things. Among her favorites were her daughters, her grandchildren and her cat. She enjoyed watching television and hanging out at home. Her sense of humor and strong sarcastic nature were definitely a couple of her great qualities. She was also stubborn, bold, strong and unfiltered. She was a "tell it like it is" kind of woman. Sheila is survived by her mother, Beverly Carson (Mark); daughters: Brittany Banks (James Lewis) and Mallory Prewitt; grandchildren: Noah, Conner and Addalynn Lewis; sister, Lorie Graham-Jellison (Tim) and her nephew, Cody Jellison. She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse; grandparents: Garold Sr. and Juanita Davis and Henry and Marie Graham. Per Sheila's request, cremation will be accorded and a memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on December 23, 2018 at the Seymour United Methodist Church.
