Sharon Nadine Woods Sinclair, age 76, of rural Allerton, Iowa, died June 27, 2014. Sharon was born December 9, 1937, in Clark County to Emerice Loren and Helena Patterson Woods . She graduated from Van Wert High School in 1956. Sharon married John Boyd Sinclair, Jr. on April 22, 1960 at the Christian Church in Van Wert, Iowa. For fifty-four years, they made their home on the farm west of Allerton, Iowa. Sharon was a member of the Allerton Christian Church. She was a member of the Needlecraft Club. For better than thirty years she served as librarian for the Allerton Public Library. This suited her well as she was an avid reader. She also worked for Clark Electric as a meter reader and for Wayne Community Schools as a cook in the cafeteria. She is survived by her husband, John, and their four children Deborah Trivette and husband (Rob) of Shelbina, Missouri; Cynthia Murahashi and husband (Scott) of Hood River, Oregon; Boyd Sinclair and wife (Amy) of Allerton, Iowa; and Arden Sinclair and wife (Esther) of Lineville, Missouri. In addition to Sharon's much-beloved grandchildren, Rebecca, Evan, Jacob, Bailey, Brenton, Mitchell and Carter, she is also survived by her sister, Ramona 'Dickie' Tellier of Osceola, and brothers Warren Woods of El Paso, Texas and Richard Woods, and wife Lila of Plant City, Florida. Many much loved nieces and nephews survive. Interment will be July 2, 2014 at the Cunningham Cemetery, Wayne County, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the Allerton Christian Church, the Allerton Public Library, or Hospice of Central Iowa.
