Shari Lynn Wyldes' Obituary
Shari Lynn Wyldes, age 68 of Centerville, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Shari was born on January 15, 1948 in Mercer County, Missouri, the daughter of Donald "Bill" and Mary (Smith) Fisk. She was united in marriage to Ronald Hecker in 1963. From this union, a daughter was born, Miranda. They later divorced. In 1965, she was united in marriage to Bobby Wyldes. They later divorced.
Shari graduated Indian Hills Community College, earning her LPN License in 1973. In 1981, she graduated from Northeast Iowa Community College, earning her RN License. She worked at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville as a Registered Nurse for over twenty-fouryears. She also worked at numerous other care facilities throughout her nursing career. Sharis entire nursing career spanned over forty years.
She enjoyed her horses. They were a great passion in her life. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren very much. Ava being her sidekick, and Elijah with his big grins that made her smile. Family meant the world to her.
Shari is survived by her daughter, Miranda McClure of Centerville; two grandchildren, Travis McClure of Centerville, and Tanner (Holly) McClure of Centerville; two great grandchildren, Ava Rose McClure and Elijah James McClure; Sharis special companion, Elmer Klataske; three siblings, Shelley (Will) DeVore of Milan, Illinois, Shane (Garry) Goldammer of Napton, Missouri; and Todd Fisk of Bloomfield; six nieces and nephews, Adam DeVore, Damon Gesualdo, Tavis Gesualdo, Kylee Miller, Skyler Fisk, and Kalan Fisk; thirteen great nieces and nephews; and her lifelong friends, Carmilla Kauzlarich, Diane Pruden, Jean Whisler-Sprouse, Diana Mathews and many many more.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald "Bill" and Mary Fisk.
Funeral Services will be held at 10AM on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville with Pastor Bryan Wyldes officiating. Burial will take place following the service at the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield, Iowa. A visitation will take place on Monday, December 26, 2016, with family greeting friends from 5-7PM.
