Molly and sons, Thank you for sharing some of your history with me about your families lives.They have been well lived and full of love.Although I never met Scott, and Lonnie didn't see him often when they were young,he always spoke highly of him.Even with his physical limitations,he soared and lived a full rewarding life.Now that he is with his savior ,he is being told,Well done,my good and faithful son.May you and your family find peace now and as the holidays approach.
Hello AllI will always remember Scott as a good friend and kind person. I will always value his kind words and motivational words of wisdom that were associated with the political process in central Iowa. It seems like only yesterday that he was showing how to use a personal computer. I think Scott and I got along so well, because we were close in age and had some of the same interests in life. Even during his times of illness and poor health, Scott was able to take the time to share his opinions and beliefs with me through email. I am sure that Scott would have done well in any path of life if he had chosen that option. Looking back on things, I wish that I would have had the chance to visit with Scott more about the writing process. I would like to thank Molly and the rest of the family for sharing Scott with all of us. Mr. Coltrain will be missed because he made a difference in the lives of all who new and worked with him over the years.
May the wonderful peace only our precious Lord Jesus can provide surround you all with the comfort knowing Scott remained faithful to the end. Scott believed in the wonderful promises that Jesus has made to those who long for His appearing and have remained faithful. I appreciate Scott's insights on many wonderful truths from scripture that is being ignored by most and I appreciate his courage! Although physically he was limited but spiritually he was and is mighty and courageous because of Christ! Molly you have been a outstanding testimony to many to love your spouse even when it wasn't always easy for you and Scott. You are an honorable woman.

Although I never met Scott I am a supporter of the permanence of marriage and blessed by his teachings on the subject. My deepest sympathy on your loss. Scott is now with our Precious Savior.
We are thankful to have had brother Scott Coltrain in our lives, and for the brightness he brought our way. We weep with sister Coltrain and all the family.
