Sandra "Sandy" (Roseberry) (Lupton) Stottlemyre, 88, of Unionville, Missouri, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Sandy was a woman who brought sparkle, creativity, and joy everywhere she went. She believed life was always better with a little glitter, laughter, and time spent with the people she loved most. She had a deep love for traveling and especially enjoyed spending winters as a snowbird.
Family gatherings and celebrations were some of Sandy's greatest joys. No one loved a good party more than she did, and she made sure every special moment was captured and remembered.
Sandy loved reading and playing games such as Sequence and Book 'N Run. She was a gifted seamstress who lovingly created beautiful dance costumes and imaginative Halloween costumes. Her artistic talent was undeniable, earning her recognition as an award-winning artist.
More than anything, Sandy treasured her family. She leaves behind her loving husband, Kenny; his daughters, Debbie, Cheri, and Rhonda; her beloved granddaughters, Nikki and Kasey; along with many cherished grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Lupton; their daughter, Terri; and many other beloved family members.
Sandy will be remembered for her beautiful smile, creative soul, loving heart, and the joy she brought into every room. Her legacy of love, laughter, and family traditions will live on in all who knew her.
Funeral services for Sandy will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Thomas Funeral Home in Unionville. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior, from 1:00-2:00 pm. Burial will follow at the Unionville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sandy's honor may be made to the Putnam County Library and entrusted to Thomas Funeral Home, 709 S. 27th St, Unionville MO, 63565.
