Sandra Louise Reed's Obituary
Sandra Louise (Besco) Reed was born September 20, 1940 to Donald and Doris (Coles) Besco in Lucas County, Iowa.
Sandra graduated from Corydon High School in 1958. On July 19, 1958 she married her high school sweetheart, Jim Reed. To this union three children were born Debbie, Charlie, and Fred. She spoiled these three with fresh baked cookies every morning. She was a farmer's wife in every way, sharing all aspects of the farm.
She made it to every ballgame or activity her kids were involved in. Later came the grandkids and great grandkids. She tried to attend as many of their activities as long as she was able.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband Jim, son Charlie, parents Don and Doris Besco, brother Kenneth, sister in-law Sue Besco, in-laws Fred and Esta Reed, sister and brother in-law Erma (Reed) and Shorty Warren.
Left to honor her passing is Debbie (Kevin) McDannald, Brett (Jamie) McDannald, Austin and Madison. Tynne (David) Sulser, Sloan (Demi) Sulser, and Mason (Madison) Sulser, Jillian (Don) Mott, Coleson and Sawyer Mott. Jake (Ashley) Reed, Kreighton, Lilly, and Jett Reed. Fred (Lori) Reed, Dylan (Natalie) Reed, Dalton (Miranda) Reed, Malikai and AnnaBeth. Brothers Roy Besco of Washington and Fred (Kathy) Besco of Texas. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Celebration of Life will be held on September 2, 2022 at 11 am, at Thomas Funeral Home in Corydon, Iowa. Burial will be at Shriver Cemetery at a later date. Memorial may be made to the family to be decided later.
