Sandra A Kennelly's Obituary
Sandra Kennelly, age 75, of Moulton, Iowa died Friday, January 4, 2012 at Mercy Hospital, Des Moines, Iowa. Sandra was born in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa on July 10, 1937 the daughter of Don and Florence (Schmidt) Tibbetts. She was a Veteran of the United States Army, discharged in 1958, and worked for Butler Construction. Sandra was married to John Kennelly in Landstuhl, Germany on December 17, 1957. She enjoyed crafts and liked to travel. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies Club, was a past President of AmVets, and also a past President of the Womens Auxillary. Sandra also served on the Republican Central Committee. Sandra is survived by her children John (Kim) Kennelly of Richland, Iowa; Don (Diane) Kennelly of Muscatine, Iowa; Sandra Ann Ostermeyer of Albia, Iowa; James (Bonnie) Kennelly of Wayland, Iowa; Christina Kennelly of Pennsylvania; Cherie Kramer of Kansas City, Missouri; brothers Richard Tibbetts of Iowa City, Iowa; George Tibbetts of California; and a sister Donna Tibbetts of Muscatine, Iowa; as well as many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Sandra is preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Chad Stice Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 10:30AM Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Bill Hubman officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8PM Monday evening, January 7, 2012 at Lange Funeral Home & Crematory, Centerville. A Rosary Service will be held at 5:45 PM Monday evening at the Lange Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be in the Mt Ararat Cemetery, east of Centerville.
