Sally Jonita McMurry's Obituary
Sally McMurry, 61, of Centerville and formerly of Corydon passed away Tuesday, December 08, 2015 at her home in Centerville. Sally was born to William & Dora (Stagg) Petersen in Muscatine, Iowa on March 10, 1954. She received her education from West Liberty High School in 1972. Sally was employed by Rathbun Regional Water as a one call coordinator for 27 years. She cherished the time spent with her grandkids. Sally was a member of the Centerville Garden Club, Faith United Methodist Church in Centerville, where she taught Sunday school. She was constantly working on her yard and always made it look beautiful. Sally also sold Princess House Kitchenware for over 20 years. Survivors include her husband, Mike McMurry of Centerville, daughter, Molly Beavers (Darren) of Wellman, grandsons: Wyatt & Walker Beavers of Wellman, sisters: Jan Carter (Bud) of Oskaloosa, Pat Armbrust (Bob) of Kansas City, Kansas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Thomas-Randolph Funeral Home in Corydon. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Friday at Thomas-Randolph Funeral Home.
